Feeling stuck is an experience common to us all. It shows up when we are trying to make decisions, designing new ways of doing things, dealing with difficult situations — indeed any sort of uncertainty or conflict can land us in that stuck place. When it shows up, it stifles our creativity, brings up judgment and anxiety, and wastes a lot of time.
In your organization, stuck may look like endless meetings on the same subject without reaching resolution, or perhaps lots of agreement that there is a problem but nothing that looks like a path forward. Stuck might feel like a lot of confusion about what’s happening, or like an us vs. them mentality, or a lot of painful emotions that people can’t seem to get through. Stuck could also be showing up as exhaustion, and a sense that you’ll never get enough accomplished.
